Before starting to explain what is Product Usability, we have to understand this first, from where this concept is arrived. This been firstly explained under the domain of HCI i.e. “Human Computer Interaction”.  It is defined as follows.

“A discipline concerned with the design, evaluation, and implementation of interactive computing systems for human use and with the study of major phenomena surrounding them”.

Broader than just the design of the interface, HCI is concerned with all those aspects that relate to the  interaction between users & computers.

The main aim of the HCI is build an usable system.
